Upcoming Workshop

We’re very pleased to confirm we have another four day plein air workshop scheduled in March, tutored by Jenny Mcnaughton. 

Painting will be outdoors if weather permits or in the well set up studio.  Jenny will guide you through many watercolour techniques enabling you to capture the beautiful surroundings in Central Tablelands of New South Wales.

Price of $460 is for the 4 day workshop only.  It includes tuition, morning tea and use of the facility.  (Main meals and accommodation are not included).

Alternatively, you can book a shorter stay on any of the dates shown on the poster.  The cost for each day is $130.

ABOUT JENNY

Jenny Macnaughton was born in Sydney and attended East Sydney Technical College in a course of survey drafting and worked for some years as a tracer-draughtswoman. She has been actively painting in oils since 1971 and diversified to watercolours in 1981. She attended Willandra Art School for tuition in watercolours.

She is an exhibiting member of the Royal Art Society of NSW, The City of Ryde Art Society, The Drummoyne Municipal Art Society and the Bellingen Art Group

Currently, Jenny holds Workshops for adults at her home studio in Megan and in her gallery in Dorrigo. She is a popular demonstrator for art societies, has tutored for the Mitchell School of Arts at Bathurst, Murrumbidgee School of Creative Arts in Wagga Wagga and at the Grafton Artsfest, and will be tutoring at Camp Creative in Bellingen in January and Grafton Artsfest in April 2010.

Jenny has held many exhibitions in Canberra, Sydney, Newcastle, Rockhampton, Inverell and Dorrigo and has released two books: “Capturing the Australian Light in Watercolour” and “Watercolour Flowers Fast Fresh & Free”. In 2006, Jenny released her first DVD, featuring a series of watercolour tutorials. It is titled: Jenny Macnaughton Paints Watercolour – Australian Country Cottages. There is now a second DVD called “The Old Bush Shack”
